About

Visit the Tin Church Laragh and its field of flax for a unique multi-sensory ‘Flax to Laragh Linen Experience’. We are Sowing, Growing and Weaving Flax to make the finest Irish Laragh Linen and we’d love to share the experience with you. We will be sowing the flax seeds in April and over the following 100 days we welcome you to watch the crop develop into a field of vibrant blue flowering flax.

Touch the flax. Look how tall and straight it grows. Examine its beautiful blue flax flowers which blossom for 7-10
days. Roll up your sleeves and help them Pull the Flax for Laragh Linen in early August which we will dry and process
to make Laragh Linen.
