Wednesday – Sunday | 10:00am – 5:00pm

Linenopolis, Bedford House, 16-22 Bedford Street BT2 7FD

From 1 August to 30 September Belfast’s historic linen quarter will be hosting a pop-up linen heritage centre and shop. Learn about the industry that transformed Belfast from backwater into boomtown, and quite literally laid the foundations of the city we know today.

Find out more about the people who made Belfast the epicentre of global industry and the beautiful buildings that housed the trade. Discover how linen is made, view original artefacts, and have the opportunity to touch and feel the product. The Centre is staffed by linen makers from across N Ireland, who will happily engage with visitors to give unique insights into the product, and how it is being used in exciting and innovative ways today.

A well-stocked shop contains a wide range of linen products from across the region – providing the opportunity to purchase unique items that are imbued with authentic N Ireland heritage.
