About

Through abstracted and stylised interpretation of aspects of Linen Chronology, Production, and Typography, the artistic ethos evidences, celebrates, and makes relevant these cultural narratives using contemporary visual language.

The core creative aspect draws upon the ‘Visual Vocabulary’ of Linen in its broadest sense, inspiring novel perspectives of form and technique, producing a re-evaluation of the meaning of adornment and a body of work which can be more fittingly characterised as ‘Wearable Sculpture or ‘Wearable Art’.

Elin has an extensive background in 3D Design, Design Education, and Design Consultancy, and holds a BA[Hons] in 3D Design and an MA in Industrial Design. Her award-winning work has been exhibited in London and Dublin and throughout N.Ireland.
